But despite all of the promise\, are there pitfalls employers should be aware of?  Does the ability of these devices to measure various health metrics create the risk of an unlawful "medical examination" in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act?  Do GPS-tracking capabilities create potential liability under the National Labor Relations Act?  Additionally\, who owns the data ultimately collected by these devices?
