Please join us for our annual celebration of Chamber volunteers!
As a nonprofit organization, the Chamber relies heavily on the involvement of our many dedicated volunteers to help us fulfill our mission and serve the needs of our business community.
Our annual Business Volunteer Awards (BVA) is one way we recognize and honor those individuals who go above and beyond to contribute their time, expertise and passion to the Scottsdale Chamber.
We invite all our members and friends to join us for this special evening and help us celebrate the spirit of volunteerism in our community.
Our celebration promises to be a wonderful evening filled with special awards and video presentations including:

Volunteers Make the Chamber Go 'Round
In addition to our 5 individual award winners, this year's event will recognize the many contributions of our committees, sub-committees and advisory councils.
Polaris Award: The Polaris Award embodies the spirit of volunteerism in their personal and professional lives. Named for the brightest star in the galaxy, the Polaris award is bestowed in celebration of a lifetime of contribution to charitable endeavors.

Legacy Award:
The Legacy Award honors a Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce member who has risen above the call of duty over a significant number of years, contributing not only to the Chamber, but to the community at large.This years honoree: Dale Fingersh
Segner Award: Named after the Chamber’s first board chairman, Wesley Segner, the Segner Award honors those who have followed in his footsteps to make a lasting impression on the success of the Scottsdale Area Chamber.
This years honoree: Eric Larson
Rising Star Award: The Rising Star recognizes an individual for his or her volunteer spirit and leadership promise. (Beginning 2008 nominees must be between the ages of 25 and 40).
This years honoree: Jennifer Bongiovani
Chairman's Award: The Chairman’s Award is a special designation bestowed at the discretion of the Board Chair to the one individual who has contributed most to a successful year. Nominations are not accepted for this category. This one is a surprise and revealed the evening of the event!
This years honoree: Will be announced at the celebration
Ambassador of the Year Award: The Ambassador of the Year award celebrates the ongoing commitment and volunteer spirit exhibited by one of the Ambassador representatives who contributed significantly to the success of the organization over the most recent fiscal year. Nominations are not accepted for this category.
