Free Social Media Worlshop

Salt River Project (SRP) will be hosting the fifth in a series of social media workshops for small business owners. The free workshop, Google AdWords for Business 101, will demystify the Google AdWords network and show attendees how to get in front of new customers, regardless of size or limited marketing dollars.

Social media advocate Ken Colburn, founder and CEO of Data Doctors, will share practical and tactical tips on how to use Google AdWords and only spend marketing dollars on targeted customers.

The hands-on, interactive presentation will give beginner and intermediate users new ideas and tools for engaging customers with digital marketing.

In 2011, SRP launched the BRC to offer its small and mid-size entrepreneurs a valuable online business resource. Following SRP’s 2011 Metro-Phoenix Business Study, entrepreneurs asked for more information and training about social media. The first workshop, Social Media 101, was held in September 2012, and previous seminars such as Facebook for Business 101 and Twitter for Business 101 are available online at srpbizresource.com. The series is designed to help business owners learn to harness the power of social media.
