The third generation of Valley business leaders, Julia C. Patrick has chosen the passion of the printed page. As publisher of frontdoors, a lifestyle newspaper serving Arizona’a social, political and cultural leaders, Julia has the enviable position of covering the Valley’s most prominent demographic. 30,000 homes and businesses receive frontdoors newspaper each month. Editorial features of the full-color tabloid cover a broad slate of topics that range from philanthropy and education to cuisine and fashion.

Julia was raised in Phoenix, attending Kaibab Elementary, Scottsdale High and Claremont Men’s College. She counts herself extremely fortunate to have studied with the Father of American Management, Peter F. Drucker. Her emphasis in college was Asian Economics and Japanese Literai Painting. While attending CMC, Ms Patrick was recruited by RH Macy’s where she was positioned in their Executive Development Program in San Francisco. Julia returned home to Arizona where she continued her involvement in retail which, oddly enough, led her into newspaper publishing.

Julia is marred to Jeffrey H. Jennings, a commercial Real Estate Broker and together they have a 13 year old daughter, Camaley. In her rarely found spare time, Julia enjoys painting, beadwork, Arizona history and baseball. On any summer evening, you can hear Julia screaming at her television practicing for the day she is called up to manage a Major League team. “If they would just listen to me,” she insists, “the Diamondbacks would have a winning season every year!”
