About the speaker: Janis’ career with Marriott has extended over 17 years. Currently, Janis is the general manager of the Scottsdale Marriott at In 1987, Janis joined Marriott International as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Residence Inn/Southeast Region. Prior to that she held several sales and marketing positions with a Residence Inn franchise partner in Janis’ key accomplishments include: · Area General Manager positions · Continuous outstanding Guest Satisfaction Scores and Associate Opinion Scores for region and company · Strong owner relations · Leader of Revenue Management Initiatives in · Special Achievement Market Leadership Award - 1998 · Special Achievement Diversity Award - 1997 · Area General Manager Award · Leadership Development Workshop participant · Women’s Leadership Conference 2000 and 2003 – panelist, workshop presenter · Bay Area Business Council Leader · Introduced and supported Leadership Coaching in the Bay Area Cluster · JW Marriott Award of Excellence Nominee · Sales Leadership Award - 2004 Janis’ most proud accomplishments include her 10-year marriage to Allan, Human Performance consultant and her five-year old daughter Katherine Grace. |
