Ribbon Cutting- Carolyn Eynon Singers
The Founding Artistic Director, Carolyn Eynon has been singing in or directing choirs since elementary school. At age 14, she accompanied all the high school choirs, and at 17, won her high school’s European Music Study Scholarship which sent her to Europe for 6 weeks before College At the University of Michigan, she earned a bachelor's and master's of music degrees in choral music education, after which she enjoyed teaching all level of chorale music in St. Louis, MO and Bloomfield Hills, MI. While teaching high school choral She moved to Scottsdale in 1994. Carolyn was hired as choral director for the Scottsdale Symphony Orchestra. A year later she created the community choir, The Arizona Arts Chorale. They thrived for 12 years. She then founded the Carolyn Eynon Singers in 2007.
CES has performed at Carnegie Hall and the 9/11 Museum Plaza in Manhattan. While directing CES, Carolyn has also served as the music director for the Valley Presbyterian Church.

We will meet in the Fellowship Hall of the North Scottsdale United Methodist Church. The entrance is facing the south parking lot. 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The ribbon-cutting event for CES begins with food and beverages and an introduction of the Carolyn Eynon Singers Board of Directors. We will have a DVD of our March 17 concert playing to show our performance abilities. We will discuss our non-profit status and its challenges and joys. We encourage and expect our guests to stay for Open Rehearsal. The singers (most work) will not be arriving before 6:30. As each singer arrives we will have them introduce themselves. There will be a sampling of the May 11, 2024 concert which will be held at the Arizona Jewish Historic Society auditorium and museum.
