Our story began in 1938 in Palmer, Nebraska. The Great Depression hit this small town hard, leaving a hard felt gap in banking services right at the time when people needed them most. Brothers, George and Tom Dinsdale, along with some friends, decided to pool their resources to open State Bank Palmer. Their genuine approach earned the trust of their community and helped the bank grow and evolve into the forerunner of our banking company, known today as Pinnacle Bancorp, Inc.
In the decades that followed, the next generation began expanding the business. They acquired other banks in good communities and soon grew into neighboring states. Today, Pinnacle Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company with banks in 8 states: Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, and Arizona. We remain family-owned through 4 generations and counting.
Even though a lot has changed in banking over the years, our commitment to our customers and community has remained the same. Our banks are led by managers who make local decisions and run their banks with their specific community in mind, so we can offer solutions that fit our customers best. We still regard old-fashioned, neighborly customs, like greeting you by name and answering our telephone calls in person, as meaningful and important.
Currently, Pinnacle Bank has 4 locations in Arizona serving the Flagstaff, Prescott, Sedona and Scottsdale communities. We’ve only been in Arizona for a short time but by staying true to our roots and values of making customer service a priority, we will continue to be here day after day, year after year, to bring you the best banking experience possible.
