Join Scottsdale Rising Young Professionals for a high-energy Volunteer Day at Parada del Sol Parade—a Scottsdale tradition since 1953 that draws more than 30,000 spectators each year. Your help plays a vital role in keeping this iconic parade running smoothly, and we’d love for you to be part of the action!

9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Buckboard & East 1st Avenue
Why Volunteer?
• Be involved behind the scenes of one of Scottsdale’s most celebrated events
• Take on one of the parade’s most important roles—organizing floats and participants in the staging area
• Enjoy complimentary food & drink tickets (including alcohol) at the Trail’s End Festival

What You’ll Do
Volunteers may assist with:
• Organizing parade floats and participants
• Managing parade traffic flow and staging areas
• Keeping spectators clear of the parade route
• Monitoring crosswalks and parade turns
• Directing parade exit flow
Assignments will be based on volunteer needs and shift availability.
Good to Know
✔ Volunteers of all ages welcome
✔ Activity is outdoors and includes walking/light physical work
✔ Please dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather

All volunteers are invited to meet at Not My First Rodeo after their shift for a light networking social.
All volunteers will receive food/drink tickets (including alcohol) at the Trail's End Festival.
Volunteers will help with keeping spectators out of parade route, managing crosswalks, monitor parade turns, direct parade exit flow. Volunteers will be assigned based on shift and volunteer needs.
