In 2019, she broke free from the grip of alcoholism while confronting decades of pain and fear rooted in the physical and mental abuse she endured as a child. Her turning point came when she realized the negative identity she had carried for nearly five decades was never truly hers. It belonged to her abusers. With that single, cutting-edge shift in awareness, Shannan found the strength to break a generational cycle of damaging patterns, build a better life for her children, and step into her calling as a professional speaker dedicated to teaching, guiding, and empowering others.
