About Us

AZ GOLF, formerly the Arizona Golf Association, is the official governing body of amateur golf in Arizona. Founded in 1923, the nonprofit organization supports more than 575 clubs and 100,000 golfers statewide. AZ GOLF promotes the game through member benefits, services, advocacy, education, competition and initiatives designed to make golf more accessible and welcoming for every style of play and experience level. Members also gain access to the USGA Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN), helping golfers maintain an official Handicap Index while supporting the traditions, history and future of the game in Arizona.
