About Us
Extended Hands Food Bank has been serving the Northeast Valley for over 20 years, providing not only food, but also hope and support for the future. Serving Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Fort McDowell, and Rio Verde across ten zip codes, our mission is to help neighbors during difficult times by reducing the stress of food insecurity. Each month, we serve more than 6,500 people, with demand increasing 10–30% annually. Thanks to the dedication of over 50 volunteers, we keep operating costs low to maximize impact and reach as many families as possible. More than a food bank, Extended Hands is a community lifeline—bringing together resources, compassion, and people who care. Together, we are making a lasting difference, one meal and one act of kindness at a time.
