About Us
Smart Schools is a nonprofit private school dedicated to adults age 22 and older who are determined to earn their high school diploma, even when life has stacked the odds against them. Last year, a 92-year-old student proudly walked across our graduation stage, proving that it is never too late for a second chance at education. Many of our students have faced extraordinary challenges, including homelessness and significant life disruptions, yet they show up every day with a desire to build a better future. Because Smart Schools is a nonprofit, the cost to attend is kept intentionally low. Our team surrounds students with academic support and community hubs designed to remove barriers and foster success. We know how important a high school diploma is and want to give opportunities to those that may not know there is an option out there
