Cave Creek, AZ – Embark on a journey through the heart of the Sonoran Desert at the annual "Desert Discovery Day," a free family event hosted by Desert Foothills Land Trust. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Jewel of the Creek Preserve, this immersive experience will take place on November 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Desert Discovery Day is made possible through the generous support of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree, the Town of Cave Creek, and the participation of local community organizations. Our partners include the Arizona Game and Fish Department, Carefree Physical Therapy, the Cave Creek Museum, Daisy Mountain Fire Department, Desert Awareness Committee, Maricopa County Parks and Recreation, and Wild at Heart Raptors. Each organization brings its unique perspective and expertise, enriching the event with diverse insights into desert life and conservation.
