Ribbon Cutting- Carolyn Eynon Singers
The Founding Artistic Director, Carolyn Eynon has been singing in or directing choirs since elementary school. At age 14, she accompanied all the high school choirs, and at 17, won her high school?s European Music Study Scholarship which sent her to Europe for 6 weeks before College At the University of Michigan, she earned a bachelor's and master's of music degrees in choral music education, after which she enjoyed teaching all level of chorale music in St. Louis, MO and Bloomfield Hills, MI. While teaching high school choral She moved to Scottsdale in 1994. Carolyn was hired as choral director for the Scottsdale Symphony Orchestra. A year later she created the community choir, The Arizona Arts Chorale. They thrived for 12 years. She then founded the Carolyn Eynon Singers in 2007. CES has performed at Carnegie Hall and the 9/11 Museum Plaza in Manhattan. While directing CES, Carolyn has also served as the music director for the Valley Presbyterian Church.
