Rodizio Grill, the nation’s first authentic Brazilian Steakhouse, is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Meat Carver to join our vibrant team. We are seeking a passionate individual eager to provide an exceptional dining experience to our guests. This position is an ideal fit for candidates who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and have a keen interest in culinary arts. Please note, this is a Full-Time position, and it is not eligible for remote work.
As a Meat Carver, you will play a crucial role in the heart of our restaurant operations by delivering both a mesmerizing culinary performance and top-notch customer service. You’ll have the unique opportunity to interact directly with guests by presenting and carving our delicious rotisserie-grilled meats tableside. This role requires precision, skill, and a commitment to our tradition of delivering the authentic Brazilian "churrasco" experience that Rodizio Grill is famed for.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Present and carve rotisserie grilled meats tableside with expertise, ensuring a spectacular experience for every guest.
- Follow the established code of correct cutting, safety, and presentation to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality.
- Observe diners throughout the service to ensure their satisfaction, responding promptly to additional requests and noting when the meal has been completed.
- Assist with daytime meat preparation including trimming, skewering, and organizing meats for service, adhering to strict food safety and handling protocols.
- Engage with guests to explain the different cuts of meat and provide recommendations, enhancing their dining experience and broadening their culinary knowledge.
- Complete assigned side work, which is integral to restaurant operations and overall guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the carving stations and work areas to adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to continuously improve skills and stay updated with the restaurant's operational standards and menu changes.
- Manage inventory of utensils and carving tools, ensuring tools are sharpened and in excellent working condition.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure a seamless service experience for all guests.
