Glendale, AZ — Credit Union West is excited to announce the five Arizona high school seniors who were chosen to receive $10,000 in scholarships from the credit union’s 2026 Scholarship Program! Every year, the CU West CARES Charitable Foundation provides $10,000 in scholarship funds to be distributed to five exceptional Arizona high school seniors. Each of the five winners will receive $2,000 to attend a trade school, 2-year, or 4-year college of their choice this fall.

The five winners were chosen based on academic achievement, community involvement, and overall character. Applicants were also asked to submit an essay describing which of Credit Union West’s core values resonate most with them.

The scholarship award recipients include:
  • Coco Zuniga, Mingus Union High School
  • Dawson Rice, Mingus Union High School
  • Leah Boudreau, Chino Valley High School
  • Mason Espinoza, Millennium High School
  • Rayden Bogran, Scottsdale Christian Academy
“Our scholarship winners always inspire me,” said Karen Roch, President and CEO. “These five students have shown a strong commitment to learning and serving their communities and we’re proud to be part of their educational journey.”
