Glendale, AZ — Credit Union West announced today a strategic partnership with Desert Diamond Arena designed to expand community access, recognition, and engagement across Arizona through shared entertainment, education, and networking opportunities.
The partnership transforms Credit Union West’s presence at one of the state’s premier entertainment venues into a platform for honoring nonprofits, educators, students, small business owners, volunteers, and local heroes throughout the year.
Founded 75 years ago on Luke Air Force Base, Credit Union West has long been rooted in service and community impact. The credit union has also been recognized as a Top Workplace for 13 consecutive years, demonstrating how meaningful service begins with supporting and valuing its employees. This latest partnership represents a modern extension of the brand’s mission-based legacy – using a highly visible community venue to create meaningful experiences beyond traditional financial services.
“Our roots are in service,” said Karen Roch, President and CEO of Credit Union West. “This partnership allows us to create access and recognition for individuals and organizations who may not otherwise have opportunities like this.”
As part of the partnership, tickets and suite experiences will be shared with nonprofit organizations, schools, community partners, and employees for recognition events, fundraising raffles, financial education initiatives, and appreciation programs. Participants may include military members, food bank volunteers, students from underfunded schools, first responders, educators, and local small business owners.
“When you give someone an experience they never thought possible, you’re telling them they matter,” Roch said. “That recognition can be powerful.”
In addition to community recognition, the partnership supports economic and educational development by creating opportunities for small business networking and student engagement tied to leadership, achievement, and financial literacy.
Credit Union West has committed to tracking and reporting the impact of the partnership, including the number of organizations supported and individuals recognized – reinforcing its belief that meaningful sponsorships should deliver measurable community value.
“Every event is an opportunity to honor someone, inspire a young person, or support a local hero,” Roch said. “That’s how we measure success.”
