Kierland Commons Ranks Among Nation’s 10 Shopping Centers
Region’s Premier Open-air Retail Destination is No. 10 in USA Today’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., June 12, 2025 – Kierland Commons, part of the Macerich portfolio of one-of-a-kind retail properties in top markets, is ranked at No. 10 in the Best Shopping Center category of USA Today 10BEST 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards. The honor affirms Kierland Common’s place among the nation’s top retail properties.

“This honor is a strong endorsement of our long-term strategic vision and echoes what see happening each day,” said Victoria Buscher, General Property Manager of Kierland Commons. “Retail destinations continue to captivate and engage shoppers across the country.”

Nominations were curated to a list of top 20 picks by a panel of subject matter experts and USA Today 10BEST editors before the public was invited to vote for their favorites. The top 20 shopping centers were selected based on factors such as the variety of stores, breadth of dining and entertainment options, ease of access and events that set them apart from other retail destinations.

The Best Shopping Center category celebrates how shopping centers bring together a diverse selection of places to shop, eat and play in a single convenient location, becoming vibrant hubs with something for everyone.

Kierland Commons is celebrating its milestone 25th Anniversary in 2025 as a premier open-air shopping and dining destination. The center was the first lifestyle center in Arizona to integrate retail, dining, office space and upscale residential living into a walkable, Main Street-inspired design.

The center is home to a dynamic mix of retailers including favorites like Arhaus, Vuori, Mastro’s Ocean Club and Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar and Store. As well as new arrivals, including Mejuri, who will be opening this month and the highly anticipated arrival of Aritzia and La La Kind Café this fall.

Complementing its retail offerings, the center hosts the Kierland Fine Art & Wine Festival twice a year, well on its way to becoming Arizona’s premier fine art festival. The festival has steadily grown in popularity among art enthusiasts and collectors and is recognized as one of the top fine art festivals in the region.
