Salt River Project (SRP) ranked first in residential customer satisfaction among all large electric utilities in the western United States according to a recent study issued by J.D. Power.
The J.D. Power 2024 Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study, issued last month, gave SRP a customer satisfaction score of 785 on a 1,000-point scale. This is the 23rd consecutive year and the 25th time that SRP has achieved the top customer satisfaction ranking in the West Large segment.
The average score in 2024 in the West Large segment, which covers utilities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, is 691.
SRP again ranked first in its segment on all six factors that go into the Overall Customer Satisfaction Index: Power Quality and Reliability, Price, Billing and Payment, Corporate Citizenship, Communications, and Customer Contact.
The 2024 Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study is based on responses from 107,175 online interviews conducted by J.D. Power from January through November 2024 among residential customers of the 151 largest electric utility brands in the United States, which represent more than 105 million households.
