SRPMIC Accepting Applications For Salt River Gaming Enterprise Board Through April 30
SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY ACCEPTING PROFESSIONAL MEMBER APPLICATIONS FOR THE SALT RIVER GAMING ENTERPRISE BOARD NOW THROUGH APRIL 30.
SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY (April 9, 2026) – Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, enterprises of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), today announces that applications are now being accepted for a Professional Member position on the Salt River Gaming Enterprises Board. A function performed on behalf of the SRPMIC, members of the ‘Gaming Board’ help provide general oversight of each casino property’s operations. Applications for the position are being accepted through April 30, 2026.
“Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort are both a source of pride and a meaningful investment in the future of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, with the Salt River Gaming Enterprises Board playing a vital role in their continued success,” said Ramon Martinez, director of public relations for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort. “The Board provides governance oversight for the properties, ensuring that every policy and decision is made in the best interest of the tribal community.”
The ‘Gaming Board’ oversees all operations of the gaming enterprises including oversight of strategic planning and risk management, budgets and financial reviews. Other key responsibilities of the group include ensuring that both properties maintain an ethical business environment as well as compliance with the law. Applicants interested in pursuing a position on the ‘Gaming Board’ must be willing to serve in the role for a three-year term.
As part of that role, they will need to attend regular board meetings held every third Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m. as well as attend special meetings as scheduled and needed. In turn, they will be given a monthly stipend. The role will also require a person with extensive professional or management experience. A financial background is preferred. Further, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of SRPMIC and its vision.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
