Cave Creek, AZ – Families are invited to explore the heart of the Sonoran Desert at the annual "Desert Discovery Day," a free community event hosted by Desert Foothills Land Trust. Set at the beautiful Jewel of the Creek Preserve, this hands-on experience will take place on November 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Desert Discovery Day welcomes families and nature lovers to explore the Sonoran Desert ecosystem together. This free event is perfect for everyone, from kids taking their first steps into nature to adults who've lived in the desert their whole lives. Visitors can participate in hands-on activities, meet desert wildlife, and learn about conservation efforts that protect this landscape.
