Thompson Joins Western State Bank Team
 
Scottsdale, AZ –  Derren Thompson has joined Western State Bank as a Senior Vice President/Commercial Banking Officer Business Banking Officer for its Scottsdale AZ, location. He focuses on commercial business development, working with business customers to provide financing solutions.

Thompson brings more than 35 years of banking experience to Western State Bank. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Utah. He is active in the community and is currently a member of the Arizona Commercial Mortgage Lenders Association. He also volunteers with several organizations including Rosie’s House, JDRF, Pop Warner Football, and Little League Baseball.
 
Thompson is originally from Sandy, UT, and currently lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his wife. Together, they have three adult children.
