VIBRANCE: Fine Art of Arizona Women Artists brings together four dynamic Arizona artists — MJ Okawa, Robin Rand, Lucy Emilia, and Jennifer Summa — in a radiant celebration of color, creativity, and connection. Each artist presents a unique perspective through diverse mediums and styles, unified by a shared passion for beauty, light, and the natural world.

From shimmering silk paintings and abstract landscapes to mixed media works rich with emotion and texture, VIBRANCE is a testament to the artistic strength and vision of Arizona’s women artists. Together, these works illuminate the desert’s vitality and the boundless creativity that thrives within it.

The public is invited to attend December 16th- February 17th - Experience this uplifting, inspiring exhibition. Admission is free, and all are welcome. Attend the Reception January 4th to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.

MJ Okawa is a contemporary silk painter who blends traditional Japanese techniques with modern design. Her luminous, jewel-toned works capture the beauty and rhythm of nature through vibrant color and metallic outlines. MJ also accepts commissions and custom work for public spaces and private clients. A proud member of On The Edge Gallery in Scottsdale, MJ exhibits and teaches silk-painting in Arizona.

Robin Rand is an acrylic artist inspired by the strength and poetry of trees. Her layered abstractions explore growth, balance and transformation through texture, light and color. Robin also accepts commissions. Exhibiting throughout the Southwest, Robin’s work invites reflection on the quiet power of nature.

Jennifer Summa is an oil and acrylic painter whose warm, imaginative works range from landscapes to abstracts. With over 25 years in art and design, she brings craftsmanship and creativity to every piece. Jennifer teaches and exhibits in Arizona and creates custom commissions. Her paintings radiate positivity and a love for artistic expression.

Lucy Emilia is an Arizona watercolor artist and educator whose joyful paintings celebrate color, light, and nature. Inspired by coastlines, deserts, and travel, she captures life’s simple beauty with playful energy. Lucy also accepts commissions. Her work reflects a bright, uplifting view of the world around us.
